
Harvey started his comedy career. Harvey began his professional career as a comedian in the early 1980s. He hosted Showtime at the Apollo, and The Steve Harvey Show at The WB. Later, he was featured on The Original Kings of Comedy following his appearance on his own Kings of Comedy Tour. In 2012 He hosted his final stand-up show. Harvey has been host of the Family Feud host since 2010 and Celebrity Family Feud host ever since. Harvey is also the host of Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. Harvey is also the host for Harvey's Funderdome. In his capacity as an author, Harvey has published four books, among them his best-selling Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which was released in March of 2009. Harvey started Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment business that runs his production company East 112 as well as a variety of different ventures. Harvey founded Family Feud in Africa and joined forces with Anthem Sports and Entertainment in the HDNet acquisition. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey were co-founders of the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. This non-profit group focuses on youth education. Harvey is a Daytime Emmy Award recipient seven times, a twice Marconi Award nominee, and fourteen-time NAACP Image Award recipient in diverse categories.
